Our Story
Our journey began when our cofounder and CEO Lisa Zhu noticed the cracked skin on her mother’s hands from years of housework. While those cracks are a symbol of her mother’s dedication and love for them, Lisa also saw how concerned they made her mother. She became inspired to find a way to help her mom when she grew up. After graduating from the top engineering school, Tsinghua University, with a degree in Biochemical Engineering, she continued pursuing her childhood dream: researching ways to unlock secrets of resorting healthy skin.
After many years of research, Lisa found the biomaterial fish collagen nanoparticle, which would be the heart of the Evericure line. Working with biochemist Cindy Li who spent eight years of research to develop what would be Evericure’s proprietary technology: the process of transforming protein isolated from deep sea fish skin and bones into a high-purity low molecular weight collagen particle.
The Evericure product line began with its serum, moisturizer cream, and our cell-regenerating small-molecule collagen is at the heart of our formulation. With its proven transformative power, our formulation effectively nourishes damaged and aging skin to stimulate regeneration at the cellular level, alleviating dryness and leaving the skin moisturized, lustrous and delicate. Long-term use has been shown to smooth out fine lines, fade freckles and blemishes, as well as decrease the rate of aging and wrinkle formation.
