Our Technology

Skin is the largest organ of the human body, and collagen is the protein responsible for the structure, elasticity, and firmness of the skin and it is produced by cells called fibroblasts. Besides collagen fibrils, fibroblasts also generate enzymes, elastin, growth factor, hyaluronic acid, extracellular matrix to keep the skin young and healthy.

Collagen is a biological polymer substance that plays a vital role in binding tissues in animal cells.  It is the most abundant structural protein in the human body and the main component of the skin structure (70% of the skin components are composed of collagen), and is crucial in maintaining skin and muscle elasticity. Collagen is responsible for providing elasticity and firmness to the skin and acts as a “water reservoir” in the deeper tissues that provides moisture to the epidermis. Much of the deleterious and unwanted effects of skin aging are directly related to collagen.

As we age, the water in the skin and muscles decreases. This is the beginning of aging.  Collagen fibers become weaker and finer, and elastin proteins loses their stretch properties.  The structure collagen-elastin network in the dermis also begins to disintegrate. to form a regular network.  Loss of collagen can cause dryness, roughness, sagging, wrinkles, enlarged pores, dullness, increased pigmentation, and other aging phenomena.  The process of skin aging can also be called the process of collagen loss, and effectively supplementing collagen can keep the skin young.

Evericure's Small-Molecule Collagen (SMC) is a high-purity low molecular weight protein (LMWP) derived from deep sea fish protein using the proprietary process and technology of our Labs, based in California.  Compared to traditional collagen,  SMC is a fraction of the size, has stronger skin penetration, and allows for direct exposure to and improved absorption by the dermis layer.  Additionally, we augment the efficacy of these nanoparticles by incorporating a carefully selected and titrated blend of biodynamic components (including free radical-clearing enzymes, vitamin antioxidants, hyaluronic acid) that further activate the skin's intrinsic healing properties.

By the time we are 20, our collagen stores have already reached their maximum, and their content will decline year by year.  After age 30, the rate of loss increases.  At age 40 years, collagen stores are only half of that at age 18.  Early supplementation of collagen, therefore, is extremely important for delaying skin aging.

The notable effects of Evericure SMC include:

  • Tightening wrinkles & toning: After SMC nanoparticles enter the skin tissue, they quickly fill in local fissures and lesions to improve tone, tighten skin, reduce large wrinkles, and smooth out fine wrinkles.
  • Hydrating: The SMC helix can absorb 30 times its base volume in water, creating a matrix that leaves the skin moisturized, lustrous, and delicate.
  • Whitening and fading blemishes: Collagen prevents the conversion of tyrosine to melanin, the pigment responsible for skin darkening. By inhibiting the production of melanin, SMC can fade freckles and blemishes. The whitening and anti-blemish effects of Collagen are long-lasting but gradual, requiring prolonged and consistent application.
  • Restoring elasticity: When SMC enters skin tissue, it replenishes and repairs the network of aging elastin fibers, restoring the natural elasticity of the skin.
  • Anti-aging: Evericure's SMC has strong tissue penetration and incorporation.  Long-term use can decrease the rate of skin aging.
